Getting started

To watch our station, just open the live observatory. To run your own:

  1. Have Python 3.11 or newer and a compatible Raspberry Shake sensor available on your local network.
  2. Download and extract the ZIP, then run install.bat on Windows.
  3. Follow the setup wizard to select your sensor and station settings. The installer downloads the required Python packages.

The download contains installer scripts and source code. Linux and macOS setup instructions are also available in the repository.

An experimental monitoring and research tool. Detection and estimates from a single station are not official earthquake predictions or alerts.
